What time should the ceremony start?
An afternoon ceremony leaves time to get ready without rushing. If golden-hour portraits matter, check sunset on your date: some photographers suggest starting the ceremony about 1.5 to 2 hours before it.
What's a wedding run sheet?
It's the Australian name for the wedding day timeline: every moment of the day with its time, shared with your venue, celebrant, photographer, MC and wedding party. In the US it's usually called the wedding day timeline or schedule.
How long does the ceremony take?
A civil ceremony usually runs 20 to 35 minutes; a religious one can take an hour or more. This timeline allows 30 minutes, so type over it if yours runs longer.
How long does hair and makeup take?
Roughly 45 to 60 minutes per person for hair and 30 to 45 for makeup, and longer for the couple. More artists means a shorter morning. This timeline allows three hours; ask your stylist for their plan and adjust it.
Do speeches come before or after the meal?
